CDL Driver
The basic function of the CDL Driver is to safely haul equipment and construction material to and from job sites. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- License/Certification: Valid CDL/Driver’s License. (Ohio)
- Experience: Three or more year’s on-the-job experience handling tractor trailers/low-boys, loaded and on the road.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking. Good verbal communication skills. Have complete knowledge of Ohio Highway Laws and Regulations. Must have a working knowledge of Ohio road permit systems. Must be competent in restraining loads safely and effectively.
- Physical: Must be physically able to lift up to 100lbs and perform considerable stooping, kneeling and digging. Must have a full range of body movements including use of hands and ability to operate heavy duty site excavation and development equipment.

Pipe Layer
The basic function of the Pipe Layer is to carefully install various types of pipe into the excavation. The Pipe Layer is responsible for a wide range of construction activities. This position reports to the Crew Leader.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience: Two or more year’s on-the-job experience preparing and installing various pipe systems.
- Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must have knowledge of the installation process for many types of pipe. Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking. Good verbal communication skills. Able to take orders and follow direction.
- Physical: Must be physically able to lift up to 100lbs and perform considerable stooping, kneeling and digging. Must have a full range of body movements including use of hands and legs. Must have the ability to work on scaffolding.

Operator Level – 1 is mainly responsible for the operation of a Komatsu PC-400 Backhoe, and responsible for digging trench for a main line sewer/water line crew. This position reports to the Crew Leader

- License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience: Two or more year’s on-the-job experience working on an excavator digging main line trench for a sewer crew.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of a PC-400 backhoe. Must have a working knowledge of OSHA sloping requirements and OSHA soil typing. Must be able to dig inside a trench box, use a gravel miser and gravel bucket. Must have good verbal communication skills and be able to take orders and follow direction.

Dozer Operator
A Dozer operator has many tasks. The main responsibility is being able to grade the dirt to the proper design elevation. To achieve these tasks the dozer operator must be able to understand and work with GPS systems and know what grade stakes mean when they see them out in the field. This position reports to the Crew Leader.

Able to grade various parts of the job to the designed elevation in a timely manner. Some examples are: building pads, parking lots, overlots, streets, alleys and swales. The scraper operator is mainly responsible for operating a TS-14 scraper and is responsible for moving large quantities of dirt as efficiently as possible. This position reports to the Crew Leader.

- Experience: Two or more year’s on-the-job experience operating a TS-14 or other comparable scrapper equipment.

- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of a PC-300 backhoe. Must have a working knowledge of OSHA sloping requirements and OSHA soil typing. Must be able to dig a slope with the assistance of a grade checker. Must have good verbal communication skills and be able to take orders and follow direction.
